Day Ninety One - A 50th Anniversary Party

Went to my ex-inlaws 50th Wedding anniversary Party, it was a fun time. I just took some pictures of the table arrangement and the Party favors, playing around with DOF too.

Day Ninety - Still life on my walls...

Just pictures of a few things on my bedroom wall...Egads I need to dust real bad! LOL!

Day Eighty Nine - Inside my curio cabinet

These are some of the things inside of my curio cabinet, most of the items are from Japan. There's a doll that my mother(may she RIP) made long ago, and some other items. I think I got some good depth of field on some of these shots.

Day Eighty Eight - "Old" Still life

Okay I cheated alittle and found an old picture but I think it is a good "still Life" It was taken with my Panasonic FZ5 I ran a noiseware program on it and it did wonders.

One of the rare times that this thing sits "still" I wish he didn't like it so much because I would like to get rid of it, but I'll keep it for alittle longer!

I know not very creative, but hey since most of the googled images of "still life" is fruit I figured hey I have some fruit why not take a picture of it! LOL!

Couldn't really think of anything creative to do today so I took another shot of the moon and a picture I took yesterday with some different effects.

Day Eighty Four - Some Flowers

Nothing really exciting, went to a picnic today, tried to take some pictures of the kids in full sunlight but most didn't turn out .. oh well, at least the flowers came out somewhat good.

Day Eighty Three - Sunset, Moon, & Half Mast...

Our Local Firehouse had their flag at half mast in honor of their brothers in S.C.

Got this great shot of the moon tonite!

And the sunsets were beautiful too~!!

Day Seventy Eight - My mother's birthplace

This is a picture of a drawing of my mothers' Birthplace home. It's amazing what you can do in photoshop to make a simple picture look nice!

Day Seventy Seven - Old Trinket set

This is another from my former MIL's house, this was a little trinket set, a salt and pepper shaker and marmalade jar, it was her aunts. This is also over 70 years old.

Day Seventy Six - Shirley Temple

This is my former MIL's Shirley Temple doll, it is over 70 years old, she loved Shirley temple as a little girl.

Day Seventy Five - Old School Bell and some old books!

I had this old school bell that was given to me by one of my cousins when my aunt died last year, she was in her 80's, it was given to her by another relative that used to be a school teacher, I would imagine this Bell is almost 100 yrs old, as my aunt was over 80 when she died. The books are from my childhood, however the first one and the bottom one, has a date of 1938, 1935 inside of them, so I would consider these vintage books.

This one is pretty much original. Just a defog done.

Did a High Key action on this one..

I converted it to a sepia color and added a aged frame to it
